Summary:
The Associate Product Manager is part of a product management team for a specific product portfolio (in this case, Competency and Performance Management solutions) and reports to the Senior Director of Product Management. This role will support the management of products through their life cycle, focusing on the development and growth of relationships with business partners, including researching new partners, identifying options, and negotiating new partner agreements. This role will also work across multiple internal departments and interface with customers as necessary. This role works closely with the Senior Product Manager, members of the executive team, and others across multiple internal departments to define and implement the portfolio vision and roadmap, assuring attainment of revenue and customer satisfaction goals, and aligning all activities with HealthStream’s organizational strategy and goals.

Senior Quality Analyst - LearningEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
3 positions available. Provides Quality Assurance expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and performs software testing function. They will assist in translating business needs and business use cases into functional, technical, design, system and test requirements, converting product requirements into test cases. Generates and communicates test plans. Executes various types of tests – black box functional, performance, stress/load, acceptance, integration, regression, etc. Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated functional test scripts, works with team members to log, verify, track and resolve product issues and defects. Research Analyst Location:  Nashville, TN

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the analytic needs of our research clients, our consultants and our sales and marketing staff. This support will include writing custom client reports based on data tabulations of primary research, conducting special analyses as requested by clients and others, and providing research and special reports for use in webinars, newsletters, white papers, Insights Online, etc. Must have a Thorough knowledge of market research principles, statistical testing and analytical thinking skills.

The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience working in the healthcare industry and proven skills in statistical testing of data, analysis, interpretation of results, and report writing. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who possesses strong applied research skills. The analyst will need to communicate effectively with internal departments as well as with clients. Systems/Network EngineerEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
The Systems/Network Engineer position oversees the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked information systems in HealthStream’s 24/7 high-capacity production environment. Common Job Titles include Networking Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Analyst, Network Consultant, Systems Manager, Network Manage. Our Systems/Network Engineer will install hardware, systems, and software for networks and servers. Install, configure and maintain network services, equipment and devices, production servers and server clusters. Will support administration of servers and server clusters, manage all system back-ups and restore protocols, will plan and support network and computing infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and load balance devices. They will perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems. Director, User ExperienceEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
The Director, User Experience will develop, establish and lead the User Experience practice at HealthStream. This position will have overall responsibility for the look and feel of all of HealthStream’s customer facing and marketing applications. This position will be a peer to HealthStream’s software development executives and Product Managers.

The Director, User Experience will define and lead a small team to work with HealthStream’s development teams to manage, review and design the overall look and feel of our customer facing web-based Learning, Performance Management, Simulation and Research applications, as well as our public facing marketing web sites. SQL, .Net Developer (Contractor)Email Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
Responsible for design and development on PSM (PM Sample Management) project which is taking two legacy patient import/sample processes and integrating into a single platform. The project includes, but is not limited to, building systems and processes which would: accept patient files from hospitals via Web/FTP sites; import patient data into HealthStream databases; validate/scrub data and send alerts to sample team of any data issues; apply various rules to extract a representative patient sample; push “sampled” patient data to call center databases or Excel files for external call centers; update project statistics in remote database systems; report status of projects.

HeartCode TrainerEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
The HeartCode Training Specialist provides initial training for HealthStream's HeartCode customers, as well as ongoing training and consultative support, to ensure effective use of all HeartCode products. The HeartCode Training Specialist also provides internal support as needed by participating in internal HeartCode training events, and HeartCode E-learning Workshops. The HeartCode Training Specialist supports the HealthStream/Laerdal partnership through participation in other collaborative initiatives and training opportunities. Provides regularly scheduled HeartCode (BLS, ACLS, PALS and other related products) training sessions both live, via webinar and, where appropriate, using other tools such as social media. Assists in development and maintenance of a variety of customer-facing HeartCode collaterals including product Training Workbooks, User Guides and other support materials. Participate in curriculum design, development and implementation. Provides internal HeartCode training as well as BLS certification for HealthStream employees. Collarborates with other HeartCode training staff in sharing of knowledge and information, providing a standardized training methodology, coordinating class scheduling and ensuring that the needs of both external and internal customers are met. Bachelor’s degree in adult education, OD, or healthcare-related field. Knowledge of American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS guidelines. Product Manager - ClinicalEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, partner management, revenue growth, and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and working closely with sales, marketing, implementation and support to ensure revenue and partner and customer satisfaction goals are met. This role will also focus on the development and growth of relationships with business partners. Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or MBA (preferred). At least 3-5 years in a product management or product marketing role, healthcare and technology experience is strongly preferred. Must possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Clinical experience and training in a healthcare discipline is strongly preferred. Summary:
Responsible for the design and development of deployment scripts and installation procedures related to application deployments. Configures and maintains virtual environments used for the development and testing of applications. Works with the Site Operations group to ensure that deployment scripts and procedures meet standards for use in production environments. The Solutions Manager achieves these goals by positioning HealthStream as an “Simulation Partner,” by designing consultative solutions with measurable outcomes based on identified needs, and by assisting in the development of an enterprise Simulation strategy that aligns their Simulation investments with clinical and business objectives.

To perform this job successfully, the Sales Director, Talent Solutions must have:

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in B2B direct sales and/or sales management, selling Talent related software, assessments, or surveys to healthcare accounts, including large strategic accounts
  • Extensive experience with all aspects of B2B sales processes, including, carrying a quota, forecasting, lead generation/management, RFP response, product demonstrations, proposal generation, contract management and performance reporting
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams including sales, marketing and product management

Summary:
Responsible for the design and development of deployment scripts and installation procedures related to application deployments. Configures and maintains virtual environments used for the development and testing of applications. Works with the Site Operations group to ensure that deployment scripts and procedures meet standards for use in production environments. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to a supervisor/manager.

Qualifications should include but are not limited to the following: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience configuring and managing virtual server environments. VMWare experience preferred, experience executing and automating application deployments, experience with scripting languages such as VBScript and PowerShell. Experience with Microsoft servers and server technologies (Windows Server, SQL Server). Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server desired. Must have strong communication skills and a disciplined approach to problem solving.

Summary:
The Client Manager, Strategic Accounts will be responsible for selling HealthStream’s courseware solutions to individual facilities within assigned healthcare systems that participate in HealthStream’s Strategic Accounts Program. The Client Manager, Strategic Accounts responds to courseware inquiries, presents and demonstrates solutions, delivers proposals and pricing, support collaborative selling programs, and shares advice and best practices to ensure successful launch of HealthStream courseware solutions. The Client Manager, Strategic Accounts seeks to align courseware solutions with clinical and business objectives, build relationships and credibility with key stakeholders within facilities, maximize customer satisfaction, and meet or exceed an assigned sales quota for courseware solutions. This individual will have responsibility for the sales process for assigned solutions at assigned facilities, including prospecting, lead follow-up, qualifying, positioning, demonstrations, presentations, objection handling, and contract negotiations through sale closure.

Sr. Quality AnalystEmail Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:
Provides Quality Assurance expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and performs software testing function. Responsible for following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Leading software application development and/or enhancement projects, exercising exceptional judgment and creativity in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions, and escalating only the more unusual and/or unique software program/application development issues when necessary.

  • Strong, senior knowledge of software development life cycle and QA processes/methodology. Experience in any of the following preferred: Agile, TFS, SQL Server
  • Experience installing, configuring, and operating a multi-tier WEB based system in a testing environment preferred
  • 3-5 years experience using test management/defect tracking tools, familiarity with requirements management tools
  • Experience generating tables, graphs, charts, etc., to represent, analyze and communicate data and information, and presenting complex issues and data to audiences of varying levels

Customer Service SpecialistEmail Location: Nashville, TN

The Customer Service Specialist will provide technical and general operational support to customers via phone and e-mail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer service calls and e-mails.
  • Escalate advanced customer inquiries or system administrator issues to the operations teams (Sr. Realtionship Manager or Operations Specialists) as appropriate.
  • Follow up with customers on open Customer Care calls and defects until closed
  • Staff Customer Service line during Web Events as needed
