REDUCE PHYSICIAN RISK
Improve Outcomes by Increasing Physician Competence in Identifying and Managing Risk

Studies show that medical errors cause up to 98,000 deaths annually and can cost more than $6 billion per year. ELM’s Clinicolegal Education for Physicians helps improve patient safety and reduce the financial costs to provider organizations by teaching providers to identify when safety has been compromised and how to manage the resulting risks. The courses develop physicians’ critical thinking and decision-making skills by using real-life case studies to clarify proper conduct in questionable situations. Through case-based learning, physicians will become more skilled at preventing risk and addressing it appropriately when it does arise. Ultimately, patients will benefit from improved safety measures and your organization will benefit from reducing compensable damages.
